A very fine 'Bucchero' ware pinochle from the archaic period in Etruria. Decorated with very fine geometric patterns made with thin walls, a very elegant vessel from this period and culture. Bucchero ware ceramics were fired in sealed ovens in order for the oxygen to be reduced in order to obtain the black finish to the vessels.
