AN ELECTRUM RING WITH PHOENICIAN INSCRIPTION, 6-7TH CENTURY BC

An electrum ring fashioned from a bevelled bar bent into a circle. Engraved onto the outer surfaces are eight letters, 'LamdAlephNunSin(?)AinMem(?), two letters are difficult to read. We would assume that the present piece is from the Levant from the Biblical period. While the letters are well formed a further reading and translation of the inscription will help us with identification.
