A Byzantine gold pendant cross made from gold sheet. The cross is formed from hollow tubes which expand towards the finials. At the centre of the cross there is a raised round cabochon rock crystal inlay.
The finials are composed of hemispherical caps decorated with filigreed globules. The stanchion is decorated with beaded gold wire.
4.5 by 3.6 cm.
