A BYZANTINE GOLD BEZEL FINGER RING, CIRCA 5TH-6TH CENTURY A.D.

The bezel is fashioned from a round bead, surmounted by six petal elements soldered together, attached to a circular mount with six filigree globules attached to the end of the petals. The shank made of beaded twisted and plain wires soldered on to a sheet base.
