A PROTO-ELAMITE BRONZE BULL, 3200-2800 B.C.

Reference: ART600436

A humped bull standing with long curved horns and tail. A small cast figurine with the head and neck of the animal turned towards the viewer. At the shoulder there is a hole which probably extends through the length of the object although the exit seems to be blocked with concretions. In this case it would seem that the bull could have been worn as an amulet.
