A cameo made from banded agate showing a bust of Apollo facing right. The bust is draped and wearing a laurel wreath with a large tie and bow at the back of the head. The use of a thin stone with two bands and using very low relief is thought to be a late Roman technique used during the 3/4th centuries when glyptic art in general was on the wane in the Empire.
