A Byzantine cross made of gold and garnet with pearl finials. The stanchions of the cross are made from faceted garnet beads which are attached to the centre by wires which pass through them. The ends of the wires pass through three pearls which act as finials, above there is a loop for attachment to a chain. At the centre of both sides square garnets decorate in intersection.
