An antique Tekke, "ceremonial carpet" from Turkmenistan. 1st half of the 19th century. Hand-knotted, very fine and dense. Downy wool knotted on wool. Rare small-format tekke bridge with classic 3 x 8 tekke güls. Rare tree aprons on equally deep aubergine-colored elements at the top and bottom. First-class glossy natural colors. Original pile height - very good condition. Original all around. Remarkably important small collector's item. Size: 186 by 113 cm.
