From Western Turkestan, main carpet with 4 by 12 göls, with Gurbage-like göls in between, decorated with a checkerboard pattern, natural plant-based dyes.
Small old repair, slight signs of wear. Fine knotting, soft cork wool knotted on cotton. Excellent quality, clear vibrant colors. A small outer border stripe is missing.
Formerly also known as Buchara.
In very good condition.
