Wood, kaolin white clay, pigments, resin. This large mask depicts a witch and was used in anti-sorcery rituals. Convincing signs of use on the inside. There are several very similar masks in the database of the AHDRC (African Heritage Documentation Research Centre), probably from the same workshop as this mask. Rare.
