Sentani. Pig hunting spear. Collected by Jac Hoogerbrugge in the 1950’s, but probably older. 3.60 metres. Nicely carved shaft with typical Sentani designs. See the collection note by Hoogerbrugge. He writes: Made from the most beautiful Kaju Suang (wood). Very very black. Nicely carved shaft. An heirloom from Bapa Mozes in Sereh”. ca. 350 cm.
