Wood. Probably Master Carver Son, around 1950. The sculpting of the chin, lips and the band with fishbone pattern running up the forehead are defining elements of his style. Very beautiful and distinctive figure. Chiefs had these figures carved portraying their most loved wives, preserving their likeness for eternity.
