Probably from a set of the four seasons, the cavorting amorini emblematic of the seasons ‘Summer’ and ‘Autumn’, one with wheatsheaf and ram, the other with bunches of fruiting vines 90 cm. high. On associated, later, plinth bases, each 75 cm. high, 165 cm. high overall.
