A pair of Mechelen alabaster plaques depicting Mary and Jesus.Monogrammed for Tobias Tissenaken, deaken of the Lucasgilde in 1619.
His name was found in the registry in 1596. He died in 1624.
Frame 16.5 by 16.5 cm.
Plaques 9.4 by 9.4 cm.
In very good condition.
In the original Renaissance gesso frames.
