Rectangular bronze casket with a gently domed, hinged lid, the exterior extensively decorated with finely engraved arabesques, scrolling foliage and interlacing geometric motifs within framed panels. The lid is similarly ornamented and fitted with original iron straps, hinges and fastening elements. The surfaces retain a rich, naturally evolved green and brown patina, with areas of verdigris and wear consistent with age. The interior is undecorated. 14 by 9 by 9 cm.
