Arabic devotional manuscript on paper comprising prayers in honour of the Prophet Muhammad, each folio arranged in 11 lines of elegant black Naskh script, with selected words highlighted in red and the text framed by finely ruled gold and blue borders. The opening bifolio is richly illuminated with gilt and polychrome decoration. The manuscript is further enriched by two detailed devotional illustrations depicting Mecca and Medina, with al-Masjid al-Haram and al-Masjid al-Nabawi, together with traditional names and epithets attributed to the Prophet and occasional marginal annotations.
