Persian manuscript page comprising a finely calligraphed qasida (panegyric poem) in praise of Firoz Khan, referred to in the opening inscription as Khan-i Jahan Firoz Khan. Executed in elegant nasta'liq script in black and red ink, the text is arranged in four vertical columns within a finely ruled rectangular frame. The upper section is elaborately composed with devotional and honorific inscriptions, surmounted by a distinctive crescent-and-star emblem. The page is surrounded by an elaborate floral and arabesque border, with further ornamental panels and calligraphic flourishes in red and black. 20 by 32 cm
