A complete Quran, Arabic manuscript on paper, comprising 413 folios. Each folio with 13 lines of elegant black Naskh script, with an interlinear Persian translation in red. Gold and polychrome rosette verse markers outlined in black, large gilt and polychrome floral marginal medallions indicating the juzʾ and hizb divisions, the text enclosed within gold and polychrome rules. Surah headings in large white Thuluth script on a blue floral-illuminated ground, with occasional marginal commentary notes in black Nastaʿliq script. The opening two bifolia are richly illuminated in gold and polychrome, framing five lines of text reserved within cloud bands against a gold-sprinkled ground. At the head of each page appears the name of the corresponding surah in large Thuluth script within a gilt floral and foliate panel. The final page of the Qur'an is decorated in a similar manner. Bound in gilt lacquer, embellished with floral sprays and flower heads among scrolling foliage. 15 × 26 cm.
Condition note: The manuscript lacks one folio immediately preceding the final folio of the Quran.
