A finely crafted wall-mounted shrine of architectural form, featuring a canopied niche supported by turned columns beneath cusped arches. Executed in hardwood and extensively inlaid with white bone, the decoration comprises scrolling floral vines, geometric borders, and a vase of flowers flanked by confronted birds. The shaped backplate and pendant bracket are similarly enriched with intricate inlay work inspired by Mughal decorative arts. 75 by 35 by 13 cm.
