A fragment from the sacred outer curtain (kiswa) covering the exterior walls of the Kaaba, woven with intricate inscriptions on a deep black background. The textile is decorated with undulating bands extending along its entire length, framing a series of sacred inscriptions. Inscriptions (executed in large Thuluth script): -Kalimat al-Tawhid/al-Shahada -“O Allah, O Most Compassionate (Al-Hannan), O Most Generous/Bestower (Al-Mannan)”. -“Glory be to Allah and praise be to Him; glory be to Allah, the Most Great”. 162 by 146 cm.
