The surfaces are richly decorated with intricate pierced arabesque and floral scrollwork, interspersed with engraved cartouches enclosing hunting scenes, stylized animals, and medallions depicting elderly dignitaries and princely figures in traditional dress. A continuous band of Thuluth-script inscriptions encircles the upper section, executed in engraved reserve against a contrasting ground. The domed cover is ornamented with alternating animal cartouches and dense foliate openwork. Raised on an engraved stepped base with floral decoration and fitted with a hinged clasp and lockplate. The overall decoration combines courtly figural imagery, calligraphy, and vegetal motifs characteristic of Qajar metalwork.
