Of deep form, this earthenware bowl is coated with a white slip and decorated in black, red, and yellow staining slips beneath a transparent glaze. The interior features a large, stylized peacock with spotted wings stretching across the center of the vessel. The bird’s elongated neck and pointed beak extend toward the rim, while its body is filled with black circular spots over a yellow ground. Surrounding the central figure are radiating floral and geometric motifs rendered in black and red, each dotted with small white accents. A band of bold black circular markings lines the rim.
