Lot 140 AN IRIDESCENT GLASS FLASK, PERSIA, 10TH–11TH CENTURY

Reference: ART3008409

A compact early Islamic glass flask with a thick cylindrical neck and rounded body, now covered in a striking layer of bronze and pearly iridescence. The surface bears heavy encrustation and mineral accretions from long burial, forming rich abstract patterns in white, amber, and dark tones. This natural weathering enhances the vessel. Height 6.5 cm.
