A rare cylindrical glass bead from the early Islamic period, decorated with striking black and white chevron patterns and red bands. Such beads were produced in the Levant and traded widely across the Islamic world and beyond. This example reflects the refined glass working traditions of medieval Syria and its role in long-distance trade.
