Khulasat al-Hisab (The Summary of Arithmetic), attributed to Baha al-Din al-Amili and dated to 1293 AH/1877 AD, is a classical mathematical treatise structured into ten chapters and a conclusion. It offers a systematic exposition of arithmetic, geometry, and algebra, beginning with operations on integers and fractions and progressing to traditional techniques for solving unknowns, including proportional reasoning, double false position, and inverse analysis.
The work further explores geometric measurement and its practical applications, such as land surveying and determining distances and heights and culminates in an introduction to algebra through al-jabr wa’l-muqabala, alongside key computational rules and exercises aimed at developing analytical skill. Note: The book is misbound.

Catalogue note: Tahrir Usul al-Handasah wa-al-Hisab: Arabic version of the fundamental introduction to geometry, the Elements by the mathematician Euclid of Alexandria, in the annotated edition of Nasir al-Din Muhammad ibn Muhammad al-Tusi. The edition was completed on 22 Sha‘ban 646AH/10 December 1248AD. The text is divided into fifteen articles, the last two of which are correctly said not to have been written by Euclid, and al-Tusi attributes both to the astronomer and mathematician Hypsicles of Alexandria. The text contains numerous diagrams.

مخطوطة عربية على الورق، في كل صفحة 19 سطرًا مكتوبة بخط نسخي أسود، مع تمييز العناوين والكلمات المهمة بالحبر الأحمر، وتضم رسومات وجداول منفذة بالحبر الأحمر. المخطوطة مجلّدة بجلد أحمر داكن. الأبعاد: 20 × 30.5 سم. خلاصة الحساب، المنسوبة إلى بهاء الدين العاملي، والمؤرخة بسنة 1293هـ / 1877م، هي رسالة رياضية كلاسيكية منظّمة في عشرة فصول وخاتمة. تقدّم عرضًا منهجيًا لعلم الحساب والهندسة والجبر، بدءًا من العمليات على الأعداد الصحيحة والكسور، وصولًا إلى الطرق التقليدية لحل المجهولات، بما في ذلك التناسب، وطريقة الخطأين، والتحليل العكسي. كما يتناول العمل القياس الهندسي وتطبيقاته العملية، مثل مسح الأراضي وتحديد المسافات والارتفاعات، ويختتم بمقدمة في علم الجبر من خلال «الجبر والمقابلة»، إلى جانب قواعد حسابية أساسية وتمارين تهدف إلى تنمية المهارات التحليلية. ملاحظة: الكتاب مجلّد بطريقة غير صحيحة.

ملاحظة الفهرس: تحرير أصول الهندسة والحساب: النسخة العربية من المقدمة الأساسية لعلم الهندسة، عناصر للعالم إقليدس الإسكندري، في تحقيق نصير الدين محمد بن محمد الطوسي. وقد أُنجز هذا التحقيق في 22 شعبان سنة 646هـ / 10 ديسمبر 1248م. ينقسم النص إلى خمسة عشر مقالًا، يُذكر أن المقالين الأخيرين لم يكتبهما إقليدس، وينسبهما الطوسي إلى الفلكي والرياضي هيبسقليس الإسكندري. ويحتوي النص على العديد من الرسوم التوضيحية.
