Arabic manuscript on paper comprising a bifolium (four pages), each page arranged in 24 lines. The text is executed in a small, precise Eastern Kufic script in dark brown ink, characterized by its compact proportions, controlled horizontality, and measured spacing.
Diacritical marks and vowel signs are supplied in red ink throughout. Verse endings are indicated by small circular markers within the text.
Marginal ornamentation consists of finely executed polychrome roundels in red, green, and darker tones, denoting divisions such as juzʾ and niṣf. These are carefully positioned and serve both decorative and navigational purposes.
A prominent illuminated horizontal panel appears at the opening of Surat Sabaʾ, written in an elongated and more decorative Kufic hand, terminating in a stylized geometric motif. This functions as a surah heading and represents a refined early example of Quranic illumination on paper.
Inscription: Surat al-Ahzab v.33–v.73 and Surat Sabaʾ v.1–v.12.
