A finely cast 15th-century Yemeni incense burner in brass, raised on four slender legs and fitted with a long handle for safe handling. The rectangular body is surmounted by a pierced pyramidal lid decorated with geometric openwork, allowing fragrant smoke to escape during use. A small bird-shaped finial crowns the top.
