A Persian brass tray of rectangular form with rounded corners and a raised border, finely engraved with a central roundel depicting a seated figure in a contemplative pose beneath a tree. Intricate floral scrollwork and arabesques fill the background, interspersed with delicately rendered birds. Multiple bands of stylized decorative patterns frame the central scene, enhancing the overall richness and elegance of the piece. 46 by 32.5 cm.
