A fine example of an 18th or 19th-century Ottoman yatagan. As is customary with many yatagan swords, it features a bone grip, adorned with red stones. The ricasso is embellished with metal onlays and additional red stones. The leather scabbard is fitted with a chape and locket made of brass or copper.
