An Arabic manuscript on paper, 303 folios, with 15 lines per page written in bold black Naskh script within black and gilt borders. It is a complete Quran, with surah headings framed by gilt panels. The two opening bifolia feature gilt and polychrome decorations, framing 8 lines in cloud motifs reserved against a sprinkled gilt ground. Gold verse roundel markers and occasional gilt marginal markers for "Hizb" and "Juz" are present. The binding is brown morocco, decorated with golden palmettes. Dimensions: 12 by 18 cm.
