An Arabic and Ottoman Turkish manuscript on paper, 240 pages, each page with 9 lines, written in black Naskh script. It features gold verse roundel markers and is ruled with black and gold borders. The opening bifolio has gold and polychrome decoration framing 5 lines, reserved in clouds against a gold ground. The book begins with several surahs, such as Al-An’am, Yasin, Surat Al-Naba’, along with various prayers and du'as, and tables listing the Beautiful Names of Allah, the Hilya of the Prophet, and the Four Caliphs. The last pages are signed: "Written by the honorable Sheikh Hafez Abu Bakr al-Shawqi, who studied under the authority of Sheikh Raji Zadeh in the year 1210 AH / 1795 AD."
