A Persian copper bowl of rounded form, finely engraved around the rim with cartouches enclosing inscriptions in thuluth script, set above delicate vegetal motifs. The inscriptions bear the names of Ahl al-Bayt (the family of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him). Diameter: 23.5 cm. Condition: very good.
