Arabic manuscript on cream paper, each page with 15 lines written in black naskh script, tajwid in red ink, ruled in double gold and blue borders, gold roundel verse markers outlined in black, each page with a gold roundel outlined in blue ink with occasional marginal floral motifs indicating " Hizb, Nisf and Juz", surah headings in white thuluth script within a gold and blue decorated cartouche, the margins of each age with gilt floral motifs decorated border, some pages with heavily floral decorated ground framing the 15ll. in clouds reserved against a sprinkled gold ground, at the corner in black ink the name of the Surah. f.1b and f.2a with a gold and polychrome shamsa, f.2b and f.3a with a gold and blue decoration framing 7ll. in clouds reserved against a gold sprinkled ground. The last two pages heavily gilt with polychrome decoration.
In lacquer doublures with floral boteh.
