The cup is made from a single piece of glass, crafted into two distinct layers. Inside is a smooth, functional drinking vessel, while the outside features a decorative openwork cage.
This cage is not separate, but intricately attached to the inner cup by delicate glass struts.
The outer layer often features geometric or floral patterns—such as circles, vines, or even inscriptions.
