A glass mosque lamp of typical form, the rounded angular body with flaring conical mouth, three applied loop handles around the body, decorated in red, gold and blue enamel with a band of inscription in gold thuluth outlined in red, the neck with scrolling tendrils overlaid with inscriptions in thuluth all interspersed by three roundels enclosing inscriptions, further stylized with a band of vegetal interlace. Inscriptions: Around the body: a repetition of the word "Al-Alim, Learned," in large, thuluth script. Around the neck within roundels: "Mawlana, al-sultan al-malik al-ashraf, Glory to our lord, the Sultan, the King, the Learned". Height: 24 cm
