An Ottoman sword with fine watered steel blade gently curved, the hilt is a straight silver engraved crossguard with double langets and engraved silver strap around the tang. The wooden grips are rivetted to the tang and has a pronounced bulbous curved pommel.
The scabbard is leather covered wood and has ornate arabesque embossed silver fittings. There are two loose hanger rings on a silver band.
Length 74 cm.
