This traditional Khanjar dagger, originating from India, is dated 1237 AH /1821AD. It features a curved wooden handle and a double-edged, curved steel blade with a central ridge. The heel of the dagger is adorned with gold-inlaid bifid palmette friezes and inscriptions on one side, specifying the date.
The accompanying wooden scabbard is fitted with embossed brass fixtures and engraved scales, with the central portion covered in ochre velvet.

The dagger shows signs of wear, including some oxidation on the blade and partially faded inlaid decoration. The piece has experienced some minor damage over time.
