Arabic manuscript on paper, a single leaf depicting to the centre al-Basmallah in tughra gold script, surrounded by squares enclosing the 99 Beautiful names of Allah, flanked on both sides with gilt and polychrome decoration. The outer border with two bands of calligraphy, Ayat al-Kursi in large black elegant thuluth script in clouds reserved against a gilt ground. the second band with surah al-Ikhlas , surah al-Falaq, surah al-Nas and surah al-Kafrun in large red script. Signed: Amad al-Din Ahmed Khan, student of Muhammed Rafiq and dated 1220 AH. Framed and glazed. Scroll 31 by 81 cm.
