CATALOGUE NOTE.
Yervand started painting when he was seven years old. When Sargis Khachatryan was invited to Isfahan to paint, and during the World War, Alexander Narsesian, an Italian Armenian artist, came to Iran; Nahaptian benefited from the presence of these two prominent Armenian painters and after learning painting, he specialized in watercolor painting. He was one of the influential figures in the formation of Isfahan's contemporary watercolor painting school.
