Of rectangular form, the black field with applied thick silver and gilt embroidery forming calligraphic cartouches surrounding an inner mihrab with columns and mosque lamp. The outer border is embellished in gilt and silver wires with a design of floral motifs. Two bands at the top enclosing a hadith and v.56 from surah al-Ahzab. The hanging lamp, in mirrored inscriptions '' Oh Fatah'', between the columns a tear shaped panel enclosing '' mawlana al-sultan Mehmed V and dated 1336AH''. At the sides four bands containing inscriptions in large thuluth script of Ayat al-Kursi from surah al-Baqraa in silver wires on a black ground, fanked by six small roundels enclosing '' Allah, Muahammed and the four Orthodox Caliphs''. A panel at the bottom with an inscription in gilt wires read " amara bi-'amal hadha al-sitara al-mubaraka, mawlana al-sultan Muhamed khan, therefore refer to Mehmed V (r.1909 –1918 AD).
