Rectangular, the red ground embroidered with silver and gilt thread with appliqué panels, the large cartouche containing a frieze of thuluth inscription and floral sprays at the corners, two roundels enclosing inscriptions of gilt wires in thuluth script on a pale green ground, all within a floral stem border, backed.
90 by 630 cm.

The inscriptions comprise:

In the two green cartouches: v.84 from syrah al-Israa, part of v.33 from syrah al-Ahzab

In the middle band: Quran, surah al-Ahzab v. 47-48 followers by Mahmud II and dated 1254 AH.
