A SILVER INLAID METAL AXE HEAD, 20TH CENTURY

The blade with upper flat edge and lower curving edge extending from a socket, inlaid excessively in silver with inscriptions of different Quran verses in thuluth script.
On each side a cartouche enclosing birds perched amongst flower and surrounded by inscriptions.
Length 13 cm.
