A FATIMID GLASS WEIGHT OF HALF DINAR, EGYPT AL-MUSTANSIR BI-ALLAH (AH 427-487 / 1036-1094 AD)

Glass weight, moulded and stamped, transparent pale-turquoise in colour, citing in the centre with the name Al-Imam Ma'ad Abu Tamim al-Mustansir, 2.283g, 19 mm, coin weight: half dinar, with lustre patina.

PhDr. Mgr. Vlastimil Novák was describing this collection and wanted to publish a book about it. Unfortunately he passed away on June 6, 2020. He wrote a book of "The Josef Michera Collection". This collection can be seen in the museum in Prague.
