Arabic manuscript on paper, covered with text written in a variety of scripts and floral design inculding square Kufic and Maghribi scripts, in assorted colors, in numerous panels, roundels, cartouches and lines.
To the centre a large view of the names Allah and Muhammad on a turqouise floral ground, above two cartouches enclosing the descriptions of the prophet in blue and brown ink.Two diagrammatic drawings of al-Hujrah al-sharifah, with the tombs of the Prophet, of Abu Bakr and ‘Umar, and al-Rawdah al-mutahharah, illustration of al-Masjid al-haram with the kabaa in the centre. Flanked on both sides with depictions of the sandal of the Prophet enclosing poems in praise of the prophet. Different sized squares with "Muhammad Baraka, Muhammad is a blessing" in blue and black square Kufic script with different cartouches enclosing the Hilye of the prophet asccording to different companions. Multiple verses from the Quran including Surah al-Ikhlas, Ayat al-Kursi, Kalimaat al-Tawhid and al-Fatiha. Signed "This maghribi Hilye written by Talal Ibn Najib".
