AN INDO-PERSIAN STRAIGHT SWORD (FIRANGI), NORTH-WEST INDIA, 18TH CENTURY

An Indo-persian sword with wide double-edged watered steel blade which towards the point, with kirk narduban pattern, consisting of vertical lines that included three brief inscriptions on each side, with bone and steel hilt that ended with the head of dragon each side. Bone hilt is partly broken. Inscriptions:
One side: Th King of Prophet's Mohammad (شهنشاه انبیا محمد), Wadud Ibn Avab ( ودود ابن آفاب), Made by Ghorban Ali (عمل کمترین قربانعلی ).
The second side: Th King of Prophet's Mohammad (شهنشاه انبیا محمد), made in a year 1030 AH, Sultan AkbarShah Hindi ( سلطان اکبر شاه هندی )
