The hilt with cusped ivory grips with a curved, single-edged, tapering watered-steel blade, decorated with two gold-inlaid cartouches, a small cartouche enclosing 'his owner Ibrahim' and dated 1244 AH, in its leather-covered wooden scabbard with russet iron mounts decorated with further gold cartouches.
