A PERSIAN SILVER INLAID LIDDED BOWL, KHURASAN STYLE, 20TH CENTURY

A lidded bowl of high tin bronze, engraved and inlaid with silver. The bowl and the lid decorated with a band containing twelve roundels enclosing signs of the zodiac, it displays a complex astrological imagery, set between two bands of inscriptions in Kufic script.
Inscriptions : Al-maqarr al-karim al-‘ali al-mawlawi al-maliki al-‘alimi al-‘amili al-‘adili al-maliki al-nasiri
