Set of two hexagonal shaped so-called shell game storage boxes (hokai) decorated with floral scrolls of peony flowers in gold makie-lacquer and showing on top the apricot leaf crest (gyoyo mon) of the Nabeshima clan. In two original red lacquered store boxes.
