Charming cast iron circular plaque showcasing a portrait of the bodhisattva Kannon in relief. Kannon is the Goddess of Mercy, also known as Avalokiteshvara or Guanyin. Suspended from a silk cord.
Period: Japan – Early-/Mid-Shôwa period (Early-/Mid-20th century).
