The central doll depicts a high-ranking noble samurai in a seated position, dressed in richly detailed golden yoroi (armour) over a luxurious brocade silk kimono. He wears a gold hat and holds a sensu (folding fan). His facial features are meticulously formed, with inlaid glass eyes and soft peachy-pink skin created by multiple layers of gofun 胡粉—a fine white pigment made from powdered itabo oyster shells (Ostrea denselamellosa)—and finished with delicate hand-painted details.
Accompanying him is a kneeling samurai retainer, dressed in silk garments with dark red armour accents. While still finely crafted, his expression and attire are modest in comparison to the central figure, reflecting his subordinate role.
The white saddled horse has red silk ruffles covering his body and saddled with a colorful saddle.
Together with 2 katana and a long sword.
